What kind of grill is the Bandit FirePlace?
The Bandit FirePlace is a high-quality grill that can be used as a fire bowl or fire barrel in the garden or on the patio. It is perfect for cozy evenings with family or friends enjoying a bonfire. However, the Bandit is not just a simple fire bowl, but also offers outstanding features for barbecue use. Included is a stainless steel grill grate, as well as the BBQ Disk, a cast iron grill plate that offers different temperature zones and can be expanded with Wok Crown & SizzleRoast.
Why is the body made of corten steel?
Bandit FirePlace is a high quality grill that stands out for its outstanding features and aesthetic design. The body of the grill is made of Corten steel, which is known to be very resistant to rust. Due to the special manufacturing technique, the Corten steel rusts only on the surface, forming a natural barrier layer that prevents the rust from penetrating deeper. This not only ensures a longer life of the barbecue, but also a characteristic appearance. In addition, the bottom of the fire barrel is protected with a rubber border, which protects it from damage and increases its stability.
Railing
The circumferential railing not only provides you with support, for example after enjoying MOESTA BBQ Gin, but also serves to attach the optional bamboo boards to provide you with storage space all around.
Grill & charcoal grate
Start right away: grill and charcoal grate are already included. Solid and stable, perfectly fitted into the Bandit. Tip: Your Dutch Oven can also be placed somewhat protected from the wind.
The burning bull
As soon as you light the fire in the barrel, the MOESTA-BBQ bull burns as a motif. The flickering fire not only looks good, but also provides the necessary air supply for your BANDIT.
Ash funnel
The ash funnel allows embers or ashes to fall directly into the integrated drawer.
Removing ash is child's play!
Another highlight is the ash drawer. No turning over the grill or climbing in with a dustpan: pull out the drawer and empty it.
Stand
The stable base with attached edge protection protects your terrace and contributes to the stable construction of the BANDITS. The perfect base for the MOESTA BBQ-Disk for example.

The cast iron BBQ Disk transforms your Bandit into a plancha. Depending on how much fuel is used, temperatures of approx. 100°C are reached in the outer area of the grill plate. Ideal for crisping up burger buns or baguettes, roasting grilled vegetables, cooking steaks or keeping various grilled foods warm. When grilling, it is a good idea to combine a kindling briquette with 2-3 pieces of wood. The plate takes about 30 minutes to heat up. It's just great to stand around the disc and the BANDIT in your own backyard with friends around the fire, preparing food together.
Why cast?
The BBQ Disk produces great even heat and different temperature zones. A normal steel plate becomes either a "volcano" or a "funnel" when used, as steel expands when hot. With the "volcano", the oil on the plate spills out onto your patio. With the "funnel", it runs directly into the embers and creates constant stinging flames. It is important that the plate is as straight as possible! We achieve this with a special contour under the BBQ Disk .
Optional height adjustment
The height adjustment allows you to adjust the inclination of the BBQ Disk to 3 positions and bring it perfectly into balance. The oil remains on the disc, as with any good pan. The surrounding rim ensures that no oil can drip down the edge.
