The Sheriff has a water drainage function in the body from 2022. To protect the combustion chamber from moisture during the cleaning process, you should cover it with the Cleaning Cover.
After several grilling processes in your Sheriff pellet grill, it cries out for cleaning.
The Cleaning Cover is indispensable so that you get an optimal cleaning result without damaging the technology.
The following steps should be followed:
- Switch off the grill, let it cool down completely and disconnect it from the mains.
- Drain the pellets from the pellet tank
- Remove the remaining pellets from the auger by pressing the "long press" on the rotary knob
- Remove the grill grates and stainless steel shelves
- Pull the cleaning cover over the combustion chamber
- Spray the interior with grill cleaner and allow to soak in.
- Then rinse with water hose
- Drain water via sheriff drain plug
- Repeat if necessary.
